A rare moment of relaxation.. They certainly don't come very often anymore. Damn the real world, right? Anyway, this Topshop fisherman's cardigan is my new favorite lounge piece. It's kind of like a more fashionable snuggie..? I'm not sure if that makes sense, but it's insanely comfortable (even more so with my big furry blanket and a great book). grilled peaches \\ mascarpone // tupelo honey
The other night, my boyfriend and I had a few people over to our place for a yummy, barbecue dinner. I really wanted to make an easy desert that would tie in with the bbq, and the first thing that popped into my mind was grilled peaches. I followed this recipe, but sprinkled them with some brown sugar to add a bit more sweetness. They were so über delicious that everyone went back for seconds. I definitely recommend trying them out for an easy but unique dessert.

Amanda Thomas, the designer, has been creating jewelry since 2005, and, at only 23 years old, owns a great business with a large celebrity clientele. I love how Amanda effortlessly mixes edgy and feminine designs, and the unique metals she uses - such as brass, nickel and copper - are right up my alley (why would you only choose one when you could mix them all?). I would love to add some of her pieces to my jewelry collection; here are a few of my favorites:
