pamela love + topshop

Eeeee! I can't even begin to contain my excitement!  If you haven't already heard, the absurdly talented Pamela Love (seen here and here) is teaming up with Topshop to design a line of Native American + 70's gypsy rocker inspired jewelry.  Everything I've seen looks so rad.  The goodies hit stores and online on May 19th for the U.K., and May 26th stateside, so start saving up, loves!

enfant savage

I love the savage, moody vibe of the photos.  Perfection - especially with this stormy weather we're experiencing in the South.

Rest in peace little girl.  You were the best puppy I could have ever asked for.  You will be dearly missed.

classic + edge

classic + edge

I've been searching for a perfect, classic oxford for awhile now with no real luck until I discovered Equipment.  Their shirts are so delicate, feminine and timeless, yet the slight sheerness of the material makes them more modern.  The possibilities for these shirts are endless.  Above I tried to style three completely different looks: one for night, day, and work.  I used Pamela Love's jewelry (a personal favorite of mine - she rocks) to add a little edginess to balance out the sweet blouses.  All three outfits seem effortlessly chic - and isn't that the look every girl goes for?

easter sunday

This year, I was lucky enough to spend Easter with my family in my beautiful hometown, Clearwater.  The day couldn't have been more gorgeous, so after all the festivities, we decided to make our way down to the beach with some good wine to watch the sun go down over the Gulf of Mexico.  However, ominous clouds lurked over us the entire time.  We enjoyed the wine and the view while we could before a sudden, torrential downpour left us soaking wet on our run back to the car.  We laughed about it the whole way home and just danced in our seats to some Grateful Dead; days like those are the ones I love the most.  I hope everyone had an equally lovely day.

style inspiration: elin kling

Although I tend to gravitate more towards a bohemian style, Elin Kling's perfect mix of Swedish simplicity and  sexy, rocker edginess is a great inspiration for me.  She doesn't wear a lot of color (which I love), yet always manages to develop beautiful, interesting, and aesthetically pleasing ensembles.  Plus, many of the pieces shes uses to style her looks are basics everyone has in their own closets.  Elin gives off the vibe that she could throw anything on and make it look alluring and perfect.  Such an effortless look.

wanee . spirit

A few shots from my time at Wanee Music Festival.  Although the weather was absolutely gorgeous, the threat of rain was always imminent, so I didn't have my camera out as much as I wanted.  The weekend couldn't have been better, though.  There were so many talented musicians playing at all hours that you couldn't help but dance all day and night (my legs are still sore!).  I can't wait to go back..

five-spice pork wraps with mi familia

While visiting our families back in Tampa, Dan and I decided to make Five-Spice Pork Wraps for everyone.  They turned out to be absolutely delicious; the pork was unbelievably tender, and wrapping everything up in the bibb lettuce made the dish perfect for sitting out in the backyard.  I couldn't have asked for a better, more relaxing weekend.
