military detail

[silence + noise dress.  f21 boyfriend blazer.  pelle moda eel skin shoes.  thrifted purse.  f21 cocktail ring. vintage gold cuff.  david yurman bracelets. vintage gucci watch.]

I love it when an outfit has enough personality to transition easily from work to cocktail hour.  This military style dress is one of my personal favorites for that kind of occasion; it is comfortable and work appropriate paired with an oversized blazer, yet fun and sexy enough on its own to wear out on the town.  These shoes are also perfect for the office-to-happy-hour switch since the hidden platform makes them oh so comfortable.  However, the main thing I adore about this dress is the military trend on a simply LBD - it's the little details that truly make an outfit special.

That's SUCH a good dress. I love the playful, but subtle details. It seems like it'd be nice for concealing a bit of problems areas in the tummy (on a girl like me), too.
